OK so I am trying to play BF1942 and FH in my old computer. What do you think would be good video settings for the game if my system specs are:

Pentium 4 1.5GHz Processor nVidia Geforce FX 5600 384 MB RAM

not a great machine, but what do you think would be good settings?

As low as you can go. The vid card is not too bad but the RAM is a little low. But really, just try it on medium settings and if it lags to much change it back to low.

If it lags reduce the number of channels and sound quality first. For some reason BF1942 engine is a resource hog when it comes to sound files.

BF1942 should play OK but Im willing to bet you run into problems with FH with 384MB.

start of as low as you can, sound and graphics, and then if you get good fps then up some graphics and up some sound until it starts to become choppy, then put it back down so you can have the best graphics on the frame rate that you feel comfortuble with

spend 52 (newegg) dollars and bum up the ram to another 512. Set sound on 22khz and grapgics on low. You should be fine.
