hi, i have been having problems with my sound, after i joined an ea officila server, i believe the patch was 1.45, and then bf crashed, and i restarted, and the gunshots were making funky noises, basically, it sounded like a chainsaw hitting metal(only way to describe) and the only to make it stop is to put in on high sound quality, which lags up my comp. i need some help! system specs: Hp 751n: 1.8 ghz P4, 256 MB of pc2700 ram, geforce4 mx 440 64 mb vid. card, sis sound*7012 with updated drivers*. anyone have any suggestion? ive tried rolling back the sound driver, no help, i dont know what to do!

reinstall but dont do incremental patches. do a a full 1.6 rather then 1.25- 1.3-1.45 and so on.

Also I know that computer I wouldnt expect too much out of it performance wise.
