Maybe you're better off posting in a main BF1942 forum ?
All depends on the settings you want to run the game. Looking at your specs , guess you're OK.
Your graphics card will be the limiting factor IMO.

I run BF1942 and FH on full specs, no problem. BF:V has a slightly improved graphics engine, but besides that not much else. so your PC sounds great, should run no problem. One thing though, maybe but a GeForce FX5200 128mb and an extra 256mb, that should set you around £65 altogether, which isnt bad.
apart from that, you'll be fine...you can usualy tell what performance it will get out of BF:V buy comparing to the existing performance of FH, as that mod requires slightly more power than regular BF1942.
oh..and a good HD also changes performance dramaticaly. hope I helped :)
Thanks for the help and my pc runs Fh with no prob.

If he does have a Radeon 8500 when they were new they outperformed my GF4 ti 4200-128MB and the Geforce FX 5200 Seems to be inferior to my GF4 ti.
If you have the money I would get a DX9 compatible card. With UT2004, HL2, and Doom 3(the new Id software game whichever one it is) you will need a better card then.
So the system specs you listed should play BF:Vietnam just fine but if you play any other games your gonna probably want a better card.
Also IIRC a non DX9 compatible card will play the game but you wnt get all the cool programmable rendering effects a DX9 card will allow.
Thanks for the help and my card is a 8500 radeon i wish it was a 9600.
