This a mod that deals with counterterror. Here is the storyline: iN 2012, the US is a peacefull nation. After the pullout from Iraq the following year from Iraq, the US is busy elsewhere. The Iraqi resistance has been crushed, and dissapated thoughout the Middle East. All is good, untill one day... On a nivember day, as the two main runeers for the Presidental election are giving a campain speech, the two are suddenly killed when a man in the audience rushes the podiums`and blows himself up. This is only the begaining. As a meeting of Congress is presided over by the US Vice Presidnet, suddenly a aircraft breaches the buffer zone around DC and hits the Capitol. It kills the Vice President, and 58 Senators. At the Pentagon, as the secutary of defense is begaining a speech about the North Korean nuclear program, he and all other people in the rooma are quickly rushed out of the room just before a bomb goes off in the room. They quickly mobilse the military ro defend the Pentagon and other goverment centers. Elseware in the United States, a huge, perfectly timed blast wipes out the US power grid, slowing the US reponse and crippling the economy. Backup power plants come on, but now the National Guard must secure them. The US also has a massive hostage crisis on its hands as several airposts are occupied by terrorist forces. No aircraft can land because the terrosits threaten to blow up any aitcraft that attempt to land. Several planes try to land on highways, but hit their wings and flip over onto their sides, causing 50% deaths on the planes. The counterterror forces must now: Save the unknowingly new presindet Secure the airports. Secure the backup generators Prevent attacks on nuclear reacors Prvent atacks on US ports Save wall street's stock market Kill the leaders of the cell in DC And secire mass transit systems Good plot, huh? The mod would (will) also add new modes of play, like bomb defusal and hostage rescue for objective based play. I can map. strong plot. it seems like a good idea to me. especially if you use battlefield 2 sf, and at night so us navy seals or whoever the team is can use night vision goggles (nvg's). i dont know how to mod though, sry

Yes, it would focus mainly on new game modes and maps, maybe a campain mode too. I wouldn't add any new sides, although i'd add new weapons and gadgets, and the gameplay would like counterstrike mixed with rainbow six. It would be very fun.

you should make it similar to that sf map with the cargo plane. have a runway and some planes but the large majority of the map is close quarters combat inside the airport. but make sure u have either a lot of entrances, unlike iron gator, or have an entrance from the roof where the navy seals can grapple up on the roof and drop down. have some tall building overlooking a spot used a lot and have a light shining directly on the building so i can snipe there and they wont be able 2 c me with their nvg's on. :)

I beleive its Python. Not very hard the only problem I see is things like bomb defusal and hostage rescue and the coding of them since those sound pretty complicated. Not really the defusal since you could just make it a partially destroyed object that needs to have its health restored to full but hostage rescue sounds hard.

I don't know how to code at all, but I can make maps. And I think the hostage AI would be simple to implament, because they don't actually have to shoot at anything, just follow their rescuer(s) back to an extraction zone. It would be like mobile capture the flag. To prevent people from killing all the hostages and ending the round they would respawn like normal solider NPCs would, and they would reduce the tickets of the team that the player is on who kills them.

I would like to make the enemy something besides your standard Muslim extremists, in fact the enemy wouldn't be from the Middle East at all. I guess they could be a group of people who are against capitalism and western explotation of their lands. So they would be from around the world, with even some people turning out to be trators and attacking their own nation. I am open to any ideas on who the enemy could be.

The enemy's weapons would be from around the world, as they would be finaced by some of the less well to do nations of the world, with arms from China, South Africa, and older Soviet-era Russian gear. They will prefer to use stealth techniques to minimize losses, and standard terrorist tatics such as bombings, car/hijacking, booby traps, and of course temporarly going into a drug induced frenzy where they will be immune to shots to the limbs, only head/arm shots will work.

The good guys will use very tough vehicles (Can be hi/carjacked) with amazing firepower but will have to worry about commonly avalible RPGs and new Russia/Chinese TOWs. They will have body armor to reduce damage to the head/arms, but the enemy has Armor Piercing bullets which can go though walls and other things to hit them, and even go right though body armor, allowing for multiple hits with the same bullet, although accuracy will decline. They have advanced weapons and equipment to help with room clearing, although due to enemy's capabilites they have an advantage if they can detect the enemy. And of course, they get the coolest uniforms, and are in better shape (Can take more bullets and run longer). The problem is, they will have less guys on their team compared to more on the other team (1.5 baddies for every good guy).

I think that would make the game balenced and fun.
