don't bother downloading that "32 (or 64) man lan" mod, it's way easier just to edit the code yourself. just go to the mods/AI/AIdefault folder and it tells you how to change the number of bots right there! just edit the number and you can have as many bots as you want, only limited by the power of your pc.

If you read the description it says that there is no need to change the bot config files, it starts up as it own mod because I believe (not sure) that modded AI files might cause PunkBuster problems. And with the 32 man lan being its own mod you wouldn't have to worry.

This is true that it runs independant as a mod. However, in order to access the levels when the mod is activated, you have to copy all the levels from the bf2 mod. Thats like a gig maybe of duplicate data. When the editor comes out it should address this issue of uneccesarily duplicating levels for a mod, by replacing the duplicate levels with special shortcuts that are only a few 100k. This is exactly what was done for previous bf games, when you make a new mod using the mod wizard tool, it would make shortcuts to your original levels, so your mod could be very small. Actually this level shortcut issue is the reason why there are virtually no mods available yet, even though modders are making cool changes to game code and weapons.
