Unfortunately im not giving this information, i really want it lol.

I know the BF2 editor is out and you can do all kinds of things on there, but im after a bit more specific information and im yet to find it...

Things like, the limitations of the engine... what can and cant be done... i know there is a battlestar galactica mod being made where most of the fighting will be done in "space". Now, i dont know about you, but i certainly didnt see a "space" option in the editor lol. So where are these guys getting their information from? Is there really a limit to what you can do? Is it just a case of coding it all in? where are all of the code files stored in the bf2 directory and how can i actualy use them in the mod? these are the kinds of questions a lot of people seem to already have, but i fail to see any reference of them anywhere. I would really appreciate any information anyone can give me because i really want to get into modding for bf2.

Ppl are working it out from first principal, ie: they take it apart and see what does what and how.

about the space maps - if u ever played glactic conquest (star wars mod) for bf42, there are space maps too. skybox is as it is (space, stars, planets &stuff), when u go too high u can't control ur vehicle anymore, and for ground, there is water but it cant be seen (still dunno how they made that tho) and basicly the same happens - u can't control ur craft.
