Hello. I just got into Battlefield 2 after a friend got me an ultimate pack for Christmas (If you don't know what it contains, it has the original, expansion, and the two booster packs).
Now, I've played a bit here and there, and I've decided to just pop into the modding community and try a mod. I'm a fan of World War II, so I've checked those areas.
The problem? I found two mods that the fanbase generously caters:
1. Battlegroup-Frontlines 2. Forgotten Hope 2
And both seem really good. I don't know which one to pick as a primary mod. Can someone give me the comparison of the two mods?
Well, they're both good I suppose, but I'e only tried BgF myself. FH2 is about the war in northern africa while BGF is about the eastern front. I went with BGF cause I dont like desert combat as much. It's quite good, but it has some AI bugs (can be fixed, look in the comments section of the files page I think) and some minor graphical bugs you dont really notice. But its very historicly accurate and its got a real ww2 feel to it. I would recommend that one. But then again, I dont know much about FH2, I guess that one's also good.
try them both then decide :)
Thanks. I think I like Forgotten Hope better, what with watching the tournament and all.
