Will the editor support this? I dont want to get it all ready to put in a map unless it will.

If not I have to shut down the mod. This is a key feature. This map nothing is really destructible I was going to import it as one object and give it concrete physics but I am screwing up somewhere I can't get the object folder to show up in the editor.

Hey josh_sg1. I'm from the Hard Justice Mod team. We have some modellers that are experienced in exporting to BF2 and may be able to help you out with this. Our site is Hard Justice Mod or contact me via my email.

Let me know.

I just talked with some of the modellers on the mod team and all said...DAMN that guy has got skills! But they said the model is too big for BF2 and you'd have to do it one building at a time. Don't take this a gospel though as they are always workarounds for everything! Good Luck!!!

I'm not a modeller but if I was to guess I would say that it breaks the games poly count rules but about a gazillion polys not to mention the size of the texture file. But don't flame me as I already stated I'm not a modeller, I just repeated what I was told! It might be possible to break that apart into a very small pieces and export each piece into the game separately and reassemble them in the editor but looking at that model I'd say that would be alot of pieces and alot of work. Just the work on assigning the materials would be extensive! Glass, concrete, metal etc. Cool idea though!

I can tell you one thing. I am a mapper and coder for the HJ mod and if he can get this into the game it would open up a ton of new possibilities for mappers! A map like this could really re ignite the interest in this game. It would change from running around a desert with a few shacks strewn about into a full urban theater none the likes seen before in the BF universe.........................

Sorry....I'm going on!!!!

I am working on allot of things with bf2 and bfv, bfv is much easier to mod but bf2 supports so much more.

This map is difficult for me because I cant get a model to show in the editor.

I have to figure out how to do it because the tutorials are not working. If I could get a modeler that could follow the tutorials to get the models in game.

That would be great.

Right now I am working on dynamic objects to get trees to fall over ex.

After I get a map put together I will work getting destructible in game.
