Ok so, I AM another one of them. I have dealt with BF2 not starting up quite well by just ejecting the disc and then putting it back in and it starts up well. However when I want to just click the icon on teh desktop it just brings up the BF2 logo thingamajig, few seconds later the "would you like to send and Error Report to Microsoft?" Box comes up. I think it's a missing file? But i have all the dll files I need. I really don't see the problem what so ever. Every other game works perfectly and It makes me angry and sad :bawl:
and yes I know my RAM is a tad low, but that'l change soon. [Bf2 still plays fine]

It can't be a missing file or it wouldn't run, if it starts up then it has all the files it needs. I suggest deleting the shortcut and creating a new one from the BF2 exe file and putting that on the desktop and see what happens.
Good idea Waaaa still didn't work :(
Tis not the discs either cause I went out and bought another set of discs :lookaround:
