I downloaded Battlefield 2 on my brothers computer. He has got a 2.8 P4, 512mb ddr400, 128mb ati 9200. I thought BF2 supported the 9200's!! When i play it the screen just goes black for about 5 seconds then back to the desktop. Does anyone know why it does this? I played it on my computer (specs on sig) and i get around 25fps on Medium - High settings. I thinks thats pretty good for my card! BF2 is great, i cant wait to play it online but i dont have internet at my house. (im at my bros now). Thanks Morg

Oh:p They said that the 9200 would run it but its not offically supported. Mess at your own risk...

Dang! lol. I updated the ATI catalyst to the latest one and it worked briefly (i say the logo etc) but i had to uninstall it because it made the system unstable. Flashing black etc. Do you think the game ran pretty well on my Ati Radeon 9550 256mb! LOL

You need to change your AGP speed to X4. There was a thread about this in the BF2 Forums but i cant find it. The card wont work properly with AGP X8.

I believe this thread may be better suited in the BF2 Problems, Errors, Help & Others Forum instead of the Tech Forum.
