Ok. Everytime I start BF2 up it either takes forever because everytime I click my mouse it takes at least 30 seconds for the mouse click to register or it either crashes when I try to log in. Both of these problems only happen on the menu, the rest of the game works fine. Everytime I try to install the 1.2 patch it says "CD Key check error" or somethign alone those lines and I can't download it completely. Any ideas? Also, does anyone know what ports need to be forwarded in order for the game to run properly? I think this might be the problem.

Every game I own has worked fine except for bf2. Anyone know where to get the latest drivers for my sound blaster card? Someone told me this might be the problem a while ago...

Do you have "hardware Audio" turned on, if so change it to software, and naturally you will get your drivers from www.creative.com.
