Me and my cousin both own a copy of BF2 and play it regularly. His computer has a 2.5 pentium 4 and I have a 3.4 pentium 4. He has a Nvidia Geforce Fx 5600 and I have a Nvidia Geforce 6800 Gt. Heres the problem, His system runs battlefield 2 better than mine ( no fps problems and less ingame lag). His computer also has a differen't driver than mine. I have the nvidia 7.7.2 driver and He has the Nvidia 71.84 Driver (only driver he found to let him play source). Is the driver my problem because my system is clearly better than his in every way and he can play it at a higher setting with less lag than me at a lower one. If any one can help please do, thanks.

Return it or buy an x800xl. I had the same crap, a month on here and with Ea's tech support did nothing. EA says "omgz your computer is crap, our code is 1337 and perfect"

eVGA, and I am not going to go through EA did that with call of duty and now I have it and the expansion laying here. They simply said we can't fix it and a go fuck your self. I personally like ati better than nvidia but this is just the card I bought and there is no way of me returning it. Thanks for your help I am downloading the 7.8.1 beta driver right now and am probably going to use that and If I have anyproblems I hope someone will help me soon.

The drivers on the BF2 disc are the 77.72 drivers, if I'm not mistaken. It's weird that your eVGA card is doing that, my eVGA 6800 is fine with the game and the 77.72 drivers.

No, use the latest. 77.76, or 80.40
