make sure fastwrites are off and make sure the agp speed is 4x, not 8x. helped me play bf2 with my 9200 before i got an x850xt
general rammelHe has DDR RAM GUYS. I wouldn ot suggest mixing as in DDR you need to put it in in pairs. So if you wanted 1 gig you would do 512-512. You cannot leave a empty slot. If he has 4 slots and 256 and CRIMM CRIMM CRIMM then he would get 3 more 256's and fill up the empty spots.
Actually you dont have to buy DDR in pairs unless you have a dual channel MOBO
Hi, I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M 1437G Laptop, 2GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon X700. And I can play on 1024x768 with "High" settings without AA. Online and Offline... I love this thing... :naughty:
Get 2 512 2700 sticks and a new video card somthing like a Radeon X800 GTO or somthing....
Thanks for your help I have been on holiday and forgotten to check this thread.
192837465At least toa Geforce 6600GT less then 200 bucks,
ATI, i dont know much about their model prices, and which models are good,
If you want the best their is, Get a Geforce 7950 GX2, or an ATI 1900XTX
but yeah, go for 6600GT, or 6800 models.. If you like BF2 Geforce works great with BF2...
Remember though, when you buy, ask for AGP, not PCI Express, your motherboard is a AGP board, :)
ATI Radeon x1950xtx for the win!
even on my laptop with 2 gig of RAM (DDR2 PC5400) and an ati mobility radeon x1600 i can run this game on maximum settings with 4x AA and 8x AF on 1024*768, my CPU is intel core duo t2400. and x1600 is a decent medium-end video card so most computers should nor have difficulties running this game.
