FN_lewrbm69well when it comes to 128 to 256 6600gt cards man there is a light years diffrance

I have used both at various times and have never noticed the difference between the two. Come to think of it the only single solitary time that lots of gfx ram really halps a lot IMHO is when you can select ultra on Doom3 with 512.

OK.....well after looking around on eBay for a bit Im still not sure if I'm going to able to pick up this card within my price range... SO.... What's the next best CHEAPEST card I could pick up and still run BF2 on at least Medium settings? Right now Im running everything on Low on a 5500 FX and I can't take it anymore. So again.... Cheapest card that can run BF2 at least modertely well?

I would say you want at least a gig of ram and either an X1300/or x700 upwards or 6600 upwards to get good fps from minimum settings.

well I already have 2 gigs of RAM. I just spent the last of my cash on the RAM and a 19'' LCD monitor. I figured I'd save the video card for last.
