I have been playing BF2 happily for two years. Three days ago when I started the game and went to load servers, it only loads about 60 or so, and states that they all have a ping of zero. Each of these servers are accross the other side of the world and the ping is more like 2000 when I load one up. There are none of my local servers showing in Australia. I used to have about 300 - 400 servers come up. I can get into BFHQ with no problems as well. I have not installed any new software, and am running XP. The firewall is set to allow the game to play. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, patched 1.41 and updated punkbuster and the same thing happens. I have tried turning all filters off in the game, and the firewall as well. I have a spare modem and have tried that, but nothing works. Any helps would be much appreciated. Thanks.

From the EA forums:
It has come to our attention that the servers are not showing up in your game's server browser or GameSpy Arcade or on GameSpy Comrade.
There may be an error in the Master Server Query or there is possible maintenance that is taking longer then expected. The GameSpy Admins and Techies have been notified of the problem and are working on fixing it. It should be fixed hopefully soon so please just wait and look for another post confirming the fix or until you see servers in game.
The maintenance or error goes out to ALL games that use our Master Server Query. That means if the game uses GameSpy's server browsing to locate servers, you will not see any. You may how ever still be able to join game's by direct connecting to them through IP address.
Thanks for the quick reply Apo-TTC. I was starting to go crazy...
