ok after the intro my game goes into the black screen looping and i can't log in or anything, then it forces me to hardboot becuz all i see if black. any way i can fix this??

you have a new ATI control panel (if its ATI) Delete it..it fucked mine up OR b4 that just RE-install ur game

you need to make sure you desktop video settings match your bf2 settings. i.e 1280x1024 @60hz first check you DT settings by right clicking your DT them propertys, see the resolution, not it. then check your bf2 settings by checking the video.con file prolly found in c:documents and settings/your user name/mydocuments/battlefield2/profiles/001 open the video.con file with notepad and find the line that states the settings. and change it to match your DT settings. g/l

ok i did the video options but is the number after your resolution your hertz, i see this 1208 1024 (number here hertz?) 0

You need to post your computer specs, everybody who has posted is wasting their time because we have no idea if your vidcard can even run BF2, if you want proper help you MUST post your system specs.

If you have LCD it should be something 1280x1024@60
