ok for some reason in bf2 to most servers i join fine click join game and the weapons/kit selection window opens but theres a big connections problems error across the screen and i get kicked out and when i try to rejoin it says check network connections now this is very annoying as i can only play on a few servers,my freind runs a similar router and is fine but ive treid running mine with ports forwarded that ea reccomend dmz mode firewall off etc and nothing so any help is alot of help thanks

system spec

AMD 4000+ 7600GT XXX 2GB kingston ram Belkin ADSL with wireless-G router

tiscali 2mb connection

I have the same problem since i download the patch 1.3,:mad: i have less problem to play during the day,but when i play at night the problem its worst:confused: play 2-3min and connection problem at screen :bawl: i hope the patch 1.4 will fix this problem

Is that a Dual Core or Single Core 4000+

Have you done the usual checks to make sure it's not your ISP causing problems, ie ping tests, bandwidth tests etc?

No you have a similar problem NOT the same problem, in your case the cause may be completely different so you should start a new thread or read some of the existing threads re: patch 1.3.

Use the ping utilty to "ping" a nearby site, preferrably your own ISP and see what the response times are, find a local site that lets you do a broadband bandwidth test.

ok i have a single core 4000+ as dual core would be 4200+ and ping tests i may check that out it router settings

Try also skipping your router. Plug directly into the internet to see if it is your router having an issue or not.

think found problem i think the router think its under attack from bf2 how can i stop this?
