What kind of feedback are you doing? Sending your sys. specs to EA to get help? The easiest way to check your specs (IMO) is to... 1. Hit Start button 2. Click Run 3. In Run type dxdiag (Which stands for DirectX Diagnostics) 4. Your done, unless you want to send your specs to EA or something then, click Save All Information 5. Then select the spot you want to save it. Thats it. It gives the person all of your specs and all of your driver numbers.

That computer ain't gonna run no BF2. No way josé.

In fact, that PC will have a hard time running BF1942. The only BF series game you'l be able to run would be codename eagle.

It could run 1942. Maybe not maxed out, but it would run.

BF2... you'd be hard-pressed to get it to run on 400x300 on a 16 player karkand 1 person LAN game. Although you didn't ask if it could run anything, just how to get info.

That's a bit hard to say since he didn't post the video card details, but in fact now that I have looked it up and found it has a Intel GMA 900 video processor it is very definately NOT going to be able to play BF2 but should play BF1942, here is a list of supported games.

Is a GMA 900 better or worse than a geforce 2? I will assume it is worse because it is onboard. My geforce 2 ran BF1942 on low graphics at around 25fps when nothing was happening. When battles happened it chugged at 15fps. Plus, I had a better processor than his.

Thusly, 1942 might run, but it will be unplayable.

I know that it will not run bf2. The main reason i am on this is because i want to know what i will need to change about the specs ontop inorder to run the game. Im thinking a new graphics card and more ram. Does that seem feasible? Oh and on my other computer i have a ge force 2 which also doesnt run BF2 but does run other game such as Rome Total War at a good standard and Counter strike source even though that is more internet based.

It isn't worth upgrading that computer. Namely because the processor isn't exactly hot stuff. I'd start saving up for a new machine.

Yes, a new machine is needed

Your hard drive is likely either too slow, too full, too small, or all of these. Your graphics card will not run anything made in the last 4 years. You have insufficient RAM. Your processor again, will not run anything from the last 4 years. Your motherboard will likely not support the upgrades required to bring the machine up to date.

In other words: It's dead, Jim hes-dead-Jim.jpg

Anything GF4 or below won't run BF2, you need a min of a FX5*** series vid card, it has ntohing to do with the internet but the pixel shader support on the vidcard. Since the GMA900 is an integrated chipset there is probably nothing you can do to get that computer running BF2.
