I've had this problem in 1.0 and 1.2 and it really can give people heart attacks. I had to call TS to get my computer alive but everything was gone and i had to spend 7 hours to get everything back. Can someone tell me prevention? Or a secret? Any comments on this killer?
The BSOD will give you error numbers indicating the possible cause of the problem, did you note those down at the time so they could be looked up later? If not there's little chance of tracking down the cause.
Could be Driver issues, could be conflicts between drivers, can be CPU, memory, hard drive problem..
the BSOD sometimes just appears as quickly as it dissapears.. sometimes it is hard to even see what it states..
List your Computer specifications... and Update all drivers.. Motherboard, Graphics, sound, etc..
Make sure you at least have 768+ Ram, 512 sometimes gives problems for people... like Memory dump errors "which is the BSOD at times"
i get the memory dump bsod all the time and its really concerning me, i renabled error reporting service ehich said "system has just recoverd from a serious error" i tried to send an error report but it came up saying "no program could be found relating to this.... or sumting...please create a folder for this in the folder options control panel" I dont know y i get the bsod or y i can't send an error report but its concerning me as normally if i get one its while playing bf2 but today one happened for no reason. My specs: Pentium M 1.73 1gb RAM Nvidia Geforce go 6200 128mb (laptop) Im pretty sure i dnt have any conflicting drivers and my RAM is working correctly so im not sure what to do. Can anyone help, it will be greatly appreciated

Change the error handng to "halt on error" then instead of "reboot on error"
