I just got the demo, and, I must say, its pretty awsome. Jut one thing though -- how are you supposed to map your joystick to the controlls for flying and such? It sees it when I press a button, but not when I turn an axis. Please, and suggestions and/or tips woudl be greatly appreciated.
What kind of stick are you using?
It took all 4 of my axises (sp?) in the control setup.
I'm using a trusty old MS Sidewinder Precision 2.
I'm not quite sure, its a Logitec one, and it works for the other two games... just not this one...
I am using a Logitech Wingman. Twist Style Rudder Control. The stick is in good shape works well with other games. Is anyone checking into this problem. It is widespread. I will not buy the game if I can not configure joystick.
Had the same problem until I used the Logitech Wingman Profiler. Made a profile for BF2. Set up the joystick functions normally within the game setup. Works perfectly.
Im having problems with my Logitech Extreme 3D pro... it wont work ingame...ive calabrated my joystick several times...it works in 1942 and bfv. Whilst setting the controlls in the options instead of the ususal tilt to the side or forward to set the controll I had to quite violently push it to the side as far as it would go to get it to recognise it....and it still doesent work in the demo...anybody else with a 3d pro having probs?
Man I have made a profile and did the horse and pony show. I have a Wingman Extreme 3 D and I have dont the footwork. If these gaming folks want to sell games they will make the game compliant with any everyday controller. Thus sux. I will spend my $50 elsewhere.
Thursmaster fox2 pro usb .. Setup a bf2 profile in their software, but did not seem to need it, bf2 recognized everything BUT the twist axis, which I want to use for roll (left/right arrow). I'm running version 1.02 Any help greatly appreciated
