I have a Saitek ST200 (USB) stick that just does not work with this game. Very frustrating. It seems I have the same problem that a lot of Logitech owners have with some joysticks, where one axis maps, but the other doesnt. As a result we can go left right, not up/down or vice versa. 1.) Anyone who has resolved this I am sure many of us would like to hear it. 2.) If you have a joystick that works flawlessly post it, I am sure some looking to purchase may be interested to know which works. 3.) If you have one that does not work, post that as well (make/model) so people know which ones to avoid. Lets hope that in a future patch the controls are fixed/adjusted

Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Great joystick for low cost.(30-40$) Has 4 programable axis. nice to use the 3 movements from just the stick alone (yaw, pitch, rudder) and 1 for throttle. Great button layout for fast and easy weapon switch, flares, views and boost.

No problems with my Microsoft sidewinder force feedback 2. I have never had a problem with my joystick. In any game.

I use the Saitek X52 with throttle and joystick, very very nice, one of the best. Anybody with this will agree. It runs for about 120 us dollars

For a long time I have had and use a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick. Works fine in BF2. I don't think they are being made anymore though! But it might still be possible to buy one, I don't know. I have heard good things about the joystick that CHK Cobra recommends, the Saitek X52 Joystick with Throttle Quadrant. Hope that helps, OTS

I had the same problems but i figured out if you map your left/right axis first and then the up/down axis second and then all your buttons. You won't have the error where it says duplicate key found blah blah. It worked for me. Let me know if it works for you too. Good Luck.:cya:
