I was finnaly able to install the 1.12 patch after failing to install it many times. Now when I go into a multiplayer game, I get kicked from the server and it says that I have lost connection to the server. And no, the servers don't crash when it happens. This question has probably been answered many times, but I could not find the answer. Please help me. Thanks.

In the majority of the answers, it had to do with port forwarding/firewall.

do you use a router ? you have to sign into the router and open the correct ports to make sure the game is communicating with the server. Do you have a firewall ? you have to make sure you give the game proper permission to get through.

Yes, I have a router and a firewall. Please tell me how to sign into them and what to do from there. Much appreciated!

Each router is different bro .. but the premise is the same. The router is assigned an ip you must sign into .. you have to have the account name and password. Then you have to either set yourself to DMZ so as to allow "Free" traffic in and out, or.... You have to open the correct ports. The firewall just depends on what what you have.
