has anyone got maya radeon 9000 pro, i have it and was wandering if there was anything i could do to it, to help with gameplay.
Mmm, acid bath, extract the silver and gold, sell it and use it to help offset the cost of a new card! :D
But seriously, no, that card is not a high enough spec model to make any improvements on no matter what the tweaks you try and use. You coul dtry and get better pefromance upgrading the other components, but seriously, for under $50 you can get an ATI X300 that will run rings around that card so if you are that short of cash save a few bucks over a month or so and upgrade.
thats going to take a long time because i'm 13, i come from england and a X800X card is something like £300 there.

I said X300 NOT X800, the X800 is between $400 and $800 here also, depending on model, but an X300 that can run everything on medium (no AA or AF) only costs $85, so don't aim for the best, aim for "good enough".
thats what you says to everyone buy a new faster graphics card, people cant just keep buying new cards, i'm just going to use my old one
Rubbish, what I say is, if you can afford a new card then get one, if you can't afford one, or are just being negative, then play with the settings to suit that card, everything on low, and stop complaining about the quality of the graphics. Why should ppl who buy new computers today, with up to date graphics cards, have to put up with low res, low detail games that were new when the 9000 chipset came out (about 5 years ago!)
high details isnt so good, it means or money and more lag
I didn't make it!
then stop crying, either buy a new card, which obviously you keep saying you cant, so...dont do that...just stop coming here to complain about it
