I am thinking about buying Battlefield 2, I already own BF1942 yet passed up Vietnam after hearing bad reviews. So I am hearing a video review on gamespot.com about how you can use microphones/headpsets when playing online:eek: . This sounds awesome but I am wondering if you need to buy special equitment. I already own a microphone yet it is fairly old and might not work. I have remembered something about a "built-in" micorphone in my PC. If you have any info on microphones please replie.:D Until then will be playing COD2 or BF1942.:nodding: --CrapshootBob

Nope, no special equipment needed. As long as it plugs into your headphone jack, it should work, as long as things are set up correctly.
While no secial equipment is needed a decent microphone equipped headset is the best way to go for chatting while playing. Have fun.

I have a problem with my mic, off topic. whenever I use my mic in general its always to quiet and has a slight buzz in the background, even when I teak the settings for hours and with my volume on full. anyone know how to help?
i also have a relatively old mic but it works fine. lately people have been telling me i sound faint but i think that is just me since people tell me that over BF2, TS and SCCT
