my friend bought the game, really looking forward to it but its not running he looked on EAsy help and he dosnt have enough pc memory (minimum 512) but he only has about 215 is there a way apart from buying a better pc he can increase the memory or is he stuck where he is?

He can buy extra memory, just make sure it's the same make and model as his existing RAM. However... you say he has 215 RAM? That's not a standard size... So, i guess he has 256 RAM, but 40 MB of it are used by some onboard graphics... That would be your main problem, not the memory. BF2 requires a high end graphics card, that supports at least Pixel Shader 1.4 (and a 40 MB onboard graphics card won't cut it). Make sure his graphics card meets the minimum specs before he wastes money on RAM. The supported graphics cards are listed in the readme.txt file in your BF2 installation ...Sigh... why do people buy games without reading the minimum requirements on the back first??

kinda like crossing the street in NYC. you hope the cars stop. well you hope the game works. Ram is actually quite cheap right now. you can pick up a gig for less than 50 bucks depending on what you need.
