ok i purchased BF2 about a week in a half ago... i have 2 computers, one is good witha shitty processor, and the other is great with only a mx440 agp in it. Now this game better be great because i just ordered a brand new computer online costing me quite abit of mucho deniero. the computeri purchased is a 1 gb ram, 2.16 amd athlon series (3000+) with a nvidia XfXgeforce 6800gt 256 mb 8x video card. now is this computer gonna work good with the game? like hopefully no lag, cause i got t1? now i wanted all of you to know this and ea to know this cause of how much i just spent to play one damn game!.. now did i waste my money? and is the game worth it?

If you spent that JUST to play this game then no it was not worth it. I can't think of any ONE game that would make me go out and spend that much money just to play. I am talking general here and not bashing this game. But seeing as your far more likely to play other games then upgrades every once in a while are a must. S

I spent over a grand to upgrade for HL2,but like you said those upgrades are out to good use with other games as well.(like bf2 for example)I can't max settings out,but it still looks pretty good.

I have--AMD 3200+ Radeon 9800 pro 1 gig ram

Yeah, think of that $850 (quite cheep actually) as an investment. Games are only going to get prettier and it will take a lot more power to run them. Also, good luck getting EA to care/notice. Besides you knew what BF2 required and if you have played BF1942 and even remotely liked it then you're most likely going to like BF2 also. And even if you don't why should EA be held responsible if you don't like the game?
