I just bought a 6800 Vid card and I put BF 2 on all high and it chugged, I put some of the stuff on medium and PUT VIEW DOWN TO 50% and it chugged when I looked around at some points!

Here are my comp specs

:moved: These people better understand how the game impacts the system it runs on and are more likely to be able to provide a solution. :)

6800's ,6800 GT's and the 6800 ultra's have a major problem with BF2. If you have the money I would suggest going out and buying an ATI, if not you'll just have to wait for EA to fix it.

6800's work great for bf2. Have you done basic troubleshoot? (update drivers, adware/viruse check, hit with hammer)

What motherboard do you have and what drivers do you currently have installed. Also do you have a soundcard, onboard sound or are you using BF2's software sound setting.
