I am looking to buy a new Graphics card for BF2, and I was wondering what ATI card would be the best?

The current best is the ATI Radeon X850 XT PE, give it two weeks and the R520 will be out

Best bang for the buck, and certainly capable of displaying BF2 in all it's glory, would be the ATI X800 XL. Cheers, OneTinSoldier

Well, I bought an X700 (256MB) on saturday and had my freind install it, runs the game on high, but if you want to do the same in MP with 64 players you will doubtless need 1GB or more RAM. (Sadly I have a measly 512MB as of now) Anything above or on X700 level will play it well on high. Just make sure you have enough RAM, it's quite vital. I recommend 1GB.

Yeah I recomend the x800 series. I have an older 9800 pro 128mg, but damn it has held its own. I run on high with 1.2 gig ram.

I just got an x800 pro and it runs sweet.I got a smokin deal from ATI online store for a refurbished model(still with 3 yr warranty). Not sure if that's a shameless plug,if so sorry, but it was a great deal and the overclocking potential on these cards is awesome.I got mine up to 564/564 with ATI Tool.
