I must of had this game 5 hours now and the damn thing doesnt what to work It goes to the battle field2 start screen then goes black then back to desktop dont even get to see the start up menu and man i must of spent atleast 20 quid on phone calls to ea can any1 plz help and no its not drivers and ea said my x300 graphics card should run it heres my specs plz help pentium 4 3.00 ghz 1gig ram x300 graphics card 128 mb windows xp sound max audio card plz help:mad:

are you running it with the patch or without. also what version of the ATI catalyst drivers are you using?

Did you get the hotfix? That may be your problem... My brother's PC has been doing that too, but the hotfix didn't help. Can't hurt to try though!

No need for that. I have just noticed recently a peculiar behaviour from BF2 which I am sure can't be intentional. If the refresh rate of your monitor is lower than the refresh rate specified ingame (the default setting or whatever it has been changed to) you will get exactly that behaviour. I have only tested this with an LCD so maybe it is peculair to LCD displays, but try changing the refresh rate of your display to something lower (say 60Hz) and see if that works. if it does then set the ingame video settings to your resolution and preferred refresh rate, exit the game and re-adjust your monitor display settings.

Im sorry to say ive just tried that idea and no luck some people are saying it may be my graphics card is not near powerful enough to play the game what do you guys think ???? thanks for the help

Your Graphics Card eh... well, I'm not familiar with what an X300 is. Did you mean X700?
