I know it still is not officially supported but most people seem to be running bf2 in vista. I myself am not yet!!! CTD after the splash screen, reinstalled drivers for everything, defrag, anti virus etc. Still the same. Any thoughts welcome.

Microsoft and EA dont have a solution.

PS Also tried compatibility mode and running it as admin, deleted all the gumph in My Documents and still to no avail.

Well i have to say, Vista is very pretty and has lots of good features but im not sold yet. I have reverted to XP and will remain on it till vista is actually useful.

vista and xp... My suggestion ? run them with a dual boot and use xp for your gaming right now....

I must admit i did think about that. But to be honest i didnt gain anything from using vista, i think i will wait till Crysis or Alan Wake appear before trying it again.

well it isn't just about " gaining anything" from the games. It gives you time to learn the system with enough time to know what you are doing after they get it all patched out again like XP ... lol
