Hi guys, I am new to this forum and hope you can help me. I'm loosing my mind with BF2 now. I got the complete set of BF2 and after installing every patch, update and expansion pack it doesn't run. I'm running windows 7 and i know from reading the other topics that it should work (being based on vista) I have ran it in compatibility mode for XP SP2 and as administrator. All that it does it the screen goes black then closes back to desktop. Here's my spec: ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 6/17/2009, 11:36:36 Machine name: ASH-HP Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (6.1, Build 7100) (7100.winmain_win7rc.090421-1700) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard System Model: HP Pavilion dv9000 (RG341UA#ABA) BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBLv Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.7GHz Memory: 2048MB RAM Available OS Memory: 2046MB RAM Page File: 1011MB used, 3080MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7100.0000 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found.
