they already have voice commands like that but yes it would be cool, i hope they throw in the air strike thing like return to castle wolfestein, that would work if they did it right.
I know that is already a voice cammand... i was just making an exaple so you knew what i was talking about... Yes then airstrikes would be awesome like in RTCW. I would also like to see the old in-game talk thing... u know with microphones... yea that would be cool
hey guys can you remeber a scene from HL2 E3movie? when a Zombie's legs are cut off of his body, and the rest of his body is still crawling? try to imagine DoD2 scene on the beach where the player is thorn apart by the mortar explosion and U see the half of a soldier body crawling for a moment...that's cool don't you think?
LOL maybe blowing in half but definately not crawling for a moment. But it would be cool to see people get hit with mortars and their limbs blow off. and iff theyre only shot then a medic can come bandage them and revive them to full health.
BTW, Chris Bokitch from Valve said that DoD team have acces to the Source engine already, but they are working on 1.1 patch for DoD,so when they'll release this 1.1 patch, they'll definately start to work with Source...that's my opinion
OK according to the new DoD2 i wrote something about tanks. Here's the quote from the irc interview about vehicles: "Q-Will Enemy vehicles be mod’able and if so what type of AI will be used for the flying ones?
A-Vehicles are mod'able. You can create wheeled vehicles, or flying & hovering vehicles.
Multiple people can be in vehicles. So you can make a multiplayer mod with groups riding in a single vehicle. Each player can have custom control available for things like vehicle movement and onboard weapons. ..."
So it seems that implemeting a few tanks into cityfighting maps will be possible and really cool... :naughty: :fistpunch:
I've never figured out how to use irc. could you show me how?
Don't worry i don't know it too..hehehe
