linkage2424Yeah, I'd go with the 9700, simply because you can overclock it to a 9800 pro! You don't have to believe me, but I'l find the link and post it here soon. It's like, softfsb or softclocking or something. There is a rumor that the 9800 pro is only a 9700 but overclocked professionally by ATi. BTW:Quigon0079, Please just use the edit button instead of posting repeadetly. Thanks. -Amp_ (hl2files.com staff) -Linkage2424 (GF staff (soon hopefully))

Its called softmod and there ant one 4 a 9700 pro to a 9800 pro its For a 9500pro to a 9700 pro but anyways i had my 9700Pro overclocked and it toped out at 5508 on 3dmark03 and thats was with the stock h/s and fan on now i have a 9800Pro and at stock speed it hits 5534 out the box and when i overclock it i can get it to hit 6022 fine with still more room to go higher so as you can see a 9800pro ant the same as a 9700pro if it was i could get the 9700pro to hit in the 6000,s and that ant going to happen with out a voltmod....:deal: but thats a nother story, You guys with your roomers, give it up when was a roomer ever true.

Uhh let me tell you something about that card. Despite it maybe cheap and is better then its ATI counterpart I would'nt recommend it to anyone with an AGP slot. SInce I dont have an AGP slot I am stuck with a Geforce FX 5200 PCI. Even though it has 256MB dosent mean anything. The benchmarks prove that an FX 5200 has low FPS. Right know my FX 5200 is good for only a handfull of games. The Geforce 4Ti series is better then it.

But get an Ati.

If you were talking to me did I not already mension that I dont have an AGP slot. The Powercolor Radeon 9200 Pro PCI is worse then my current card then why should I change?
