Hi~ I just bought the BFME anthology last weekend, and have been playing BFME for the past week. This weekend, I decided to try the multiplayer, so I clicked on the multiplayer button and it brought me into a screen to log in, and it also had a button that said register (and I know you need to register to play) so I clicked the button. BFME minimized, my computer was still for a second, then a screen came up saying
"EReg has encoutered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconveniece."
I tried to open it through the start menu, and the same thing happened.
I installed BFME 2 and tried to register, and that didn't work either.
Does anyone know the answer to my problems!?!?!
(By the way I'm running XP x32 on an iMac with boot camp)
OK. I was having the same problem and it was REALLY annoying so i know how u feel. Microsoft isnt totally wrong, it is a flashplayer problem, but its not that u need it, it that Ereg.exe and Flashplayer have trouble working together. What u need to do is got to this site, How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control , and download the Flashplayer uninstaller and then register your game, then u can re-install Flash player. I just did this and it worked for me, so Good Luck! :-D
