i just purchased a LOTR:BFME dvd edition and tried to install it on my computer it meets all the system requirements i do have a dvd drive it does not auto play so u go to my computer and click its icon and i comes up with this message:

E:\ is not a valid Win32 application .....anyone know what this is about??? i paid $50 for the game and can't take it back

I WANNA GET IT WORKING!!!!!!!!

Which version of windows are you using? Anyway, you could temporarily try to run the setup manually. Go to My Computer, right click on the drive letter of your DVD-CD ROM drive and click Open. You can run the Setup from there. I had this problem with a few games (Duke Nukem Manhattan Project was one such game.) I'll try and help you out here, but it's nothing majoy. You can still install and play the game.

yeah ty for helping out but i think that u mean go to explore on the right click menu..... that does work but anything u try to open from the disk givess the same error message

windows XP is what i am running

srry to say but that did not work any other ideas............anything u try to open from ny folders from that disc give

E:\ is not a valid Win32 app.
