I know the all mighty MYKE solved the problem by giving us the drivers, but when I tryed to install them I got an error messege that just seid thay wheren't compatable with my current hardware. I whent to HP (thay made my laptop) and asked them for the latest drivers but the drivers thay had were v77.30 (somthing like that) and that didn't make any difrence can anyone help me? ty ----------------------------------------- P.S. i have a geforce4 440 GO at 64 mb
well im no technician but u gota have 64mb video card and 256mb of ram and a processor of 1.6GHz does that help? otherwise contact EA.
EA told me to go to HP for the drivers in the first place,:furious: AKA thay were no help.:furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:
well 64mb should be fine, if your getting game.dats then thats another problem entirely, just reinstall the game and try. i have heard lots of people complaining about this but never experinced it myself so i wouldnt know what to do, plus i would never play BFME2 on a laptop, thats just my advice.
I lost count of how many time I reinstaled the game and EA won't help me any more Becuse, Quote: laptop versions of thiese cards may work but are not supported. Witch means if someone with a laptop version of one of the video cards asks for help they won't help. In another thread it seid to dounload the v80.88 (or somthing close to that) drivers, but when I try to install them I get an error saying my hardware doesn't support it. Do I have to uninstall my current ones or somthong? PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!!!
No, the video cards that you are trying to download are not compatible, i had game.dat error for BFME1 it should be the same. Go into control panel and uninstall the game from add/remove programs. When it says get rid of the maps and everything say yes, get rid of it all. Then install it again, if this does not work than there is nothing you can do.
