im a new guy on the front forums. anyways, i want to know how to make a mod that alters the starting cash for BFME2 ROTWK skirmish games. i want things to be faster and more fluent.
It would also be cool if i could alter the build cost and time of the units. but the main thing is that i want to change the starting cash. that way games will be a LOT more faster and a LOT more hellish when you play. if you tell me where i need to go, i will put the mod together and post it up for others to try.
its not making the game OP, its just making it fast paste. kinda like CNC3.
any program i can use to open up .big files and EDIT them?
k found a part of what i need. turns out i use FinalBig editor in order to mess with .big files. still need help on the other parts of the question though.

Hi! ,i think you can edit the start "cash" if you open the ini.big with finalBIG (make a backup first!!) and look for a file data/ini/playertemplate.ini. There is a line called "StartMoney =" for each faction. i am not sure if this works but remember to make a backup of the ini.big before you start edit it. if you want to alter the build cost and buildtime of the units you can do that in the data/ini/gamedata.ini. but if you edit the ini.big file you cant play online, so create a backup. good luck
