How would one go about adding walking on shallow water sound to the watermesh object?
Maybe after generating your terrain maps, you paint in the muddy water material but then don't generate the maps again. Just put down the material squares, you may be able to paint it with the surface painter, but I don't think so.
Similar to the way you put in the no boundaries zone after you have finished with the other parts. Just switch to materials and I think there is an option for water too. Trick is to paint it in after you have textured the map in the material or surface paint mode. I can't remember and I am out of town from my editing machine with BattleCraft, so thas my bess guess.
Thanks D, I'll give it a go. Out of bounds texture is comming up as default wet grass is there anyway to change it?
I dont know how to use it as a texture. I use the material mapper for out of bounds and it works fine.
What I did was to add water texture using surface mapper then painting over it with mud that way it looks like muddy water and sounds like it too... worked a treat
