Hello,

I'm trying to make a realism mod, but I don't know how to do weapon editing in Vietnam. First of all, I want to take the M1 Garand, Thomson, BAR, and Flame Thrower out of the WW2 Mod, and put them in kits for my mod, but I need to know how to extract the weapon files, sounds, and anims, and put them into their respective files within my mod. Seccond, I would like to do some weapon editing, but I have no clue where to look for the weapon characteristics files, so if anyone could help me out here it would be much appreaciated.

Yes, I know of Arsenal, but Arsenal also does allot of other mods that I don't like. Also I won't have access to high speed internet for the rest of the week, so to save the time, I would like to know how to do the above, so I can do it myself, and also have the knowledge of how to do similar mods in the future.

youve gotta get the bfmdt witch is the battlefield mod development toolkit. i wouldn't even bother bro bfv and 1942 are old and outdated. if you want to learn something usefull learn to mod for bf2 and 2142. that engine will be around for the next few years.

Dude, I'm not a noob at this. I've already got the MDT. I don't care how many people play the game anymore, I don't care how old the engine is. I'm not a moddeler, nor a pro modder, so I can't do a realistic Vietnam era game with BF2 engine. I've already made a realistic BF2 mod, CoD2 mod, and several mini mods for tonnes of other games, and now I'm playing BFV, and now I want to make a mod for it (for my own use), so just stop trying to stop me, and tell me how to get to these files, and bring them into the other mod (unless you don't know of course).
