I am completely stumped here lol. I have my map created, and everything placed down. I save it and try to test it and everything in the game is WHITE!!!!!!.... I've re-done the surface maps and everything, and I have NO IDEA how to make it look normal... Any and all help is very appreciated!
Looks like your surface maps are missing or the detail texture ....
And how would i go about fixing this problem?
Unpack your map and put whaterver surface maps you have , that you know are good , inside the map , then repack it .... better yet , backup the stuff that you got so far , and create another map .... then you can merge whatever stuff is good from both maps into one .... read the tutorials for bf1942 cause they still apply in Battlecraft Vietnam .... is this your first map ?
I have been messing aroudn with mapping for awhile, But this is my first complete map that i've attempted... So all that stuff u just said makes no sence to me=)
i have the same prob just test it with BFvietnam click on multipayer and than create game there is a complete list of maps yours is in too click two times on the nam of your map and now click on create local game and done!!!!!

yo man you need the textures???no problem......go to the left top of the screen(you have to bee in the battlecraft vietnam) there is a ''world'' then go to the ''lightings'' and choose some light! your problem is that you was deleting the shadows...i know that becouse i was having same problem once......enjoy:nodding:
Either shadows or you didn't generate material maps. When you generate material maps, do it on very low ( so it will go faster) then go into BFV, make sure your video settings are at the lowest value, and give it a try. If you do it on very high, it will take a day of full processing power from a 2.4 ghz, 512 ram comp.
