you can change the range of your sight on all weapons except the car15/xm148 and knives with your second mouse button provided you haven't changed it from the default setting

:uhm: Try to be more specific with your questions if possible to get a good response from the community here... I will try to help you! 1. Do you mean that you want to be zoomed in ALL the time? 2. Or do you mean you want to see an enemy when he is far away (they dissapear at a certain distance)? - If you want to be zoomed in all the time, you could change the field of view for all soldiers by editing one file. this file is located at ..Objects\Soldiers\Common\CommonSoldierData.inc look for the line ObjectTemplate.set1pFov 0.47 and change to ObjectTemplate.set1pFov 0.1 - If you wanted to make it so that enemies don't dissapear, you can change the line in the top of the same file. ObjectTemplate.cullRadiusScale 3.0 increase the number to increase the view distance for soldiers. If that dosn't work right, then you would have to edit the geometry LOD distances in each soldiers folder. look in ..\objects\Soldiers\USMarineB1\Geometries.con rem -------- 3P body ---------------- GeometryTemplate.create AnimatedMesh Soldier/3PUSMarineB1 GeometryTemplate.setSkin animations/Ch_US_Marine_m1.skn GeometryTemplate.file Ch_US_Marine_m1 GeometryTemplate.setLodRange 0 0 1 30 2 80 GeometryTemplate.setLodRange 3 150 4 210 5 230 << increase the last number You would have to change the LOD distances for all soldiers folders in ..\objects\Soldiers\, and only the 3p (third person) parts of the code. well, thats the best I can think of. Not sure what will work, but hope it helps anyhow. G-luck.
