Here's a panorama I made in photoshop of my first map for any game that I have created. Thanks to everyone who uses this forum as it has been an invaluable resource for me in a area that I havent gone before. My map, Halong Bay, (yes I know there is another map with the same name out there) should be ready for testing soon, loading page is sweet as some of you have commented before and I have some nice loading music from the 60,s which I need to get the rights to before I distribute my map (any help with getting music rights would be helpfull) Also map has Bot support, they are a bit stupid though as it needs some tweaking....

Please leave feedback on screenies, thanks, Croupier

I could release it in about a week or so without loading music, if I want it with music I have to wait till I can get the rights to "Tracks of My tears"(Smokey robinson and the Miracles). I dont want any lawsuuits or anything, lol, because this map will be free I should be able to get the rights to the song cheap, hopefully free...

What I might do is release it soon without loading music then update it later...

Great looking map Croupier. Changing the loading menu music is easy. You'll need to download bink video tools to convert the music file to what BFV uses and then put it in the music folder(not 'my music', the one in the sub BFV folder).

You are allowed to use licensed music as long as you arent gaining profit from it. btw nice looking map eekx.gif

I still think I might get some legal advice before using someones music, if your right then thats excellent news, I've got heaps of cool tracks from that era, even got the theme to M*A*S*H.

Thanks Swainy but Ive done all that allready, I'm just talking about Legal implications using someone elses music, copyright stuff..... :)
