Game is freezing on loading. Can anyone help please. The Mouse

well first off what are your specs for your computer? and is it freezing while loading a map? or is it freezing when you first try to load the game?
On loading the map it freezes. Mind you have only tried to load 2 maps. Computer is Athlon 1800, 512 ram. GForce 2 graphics card but have seen played on less but then that wont stop from loading.
well if you are trying t load a custom map that you have downloaded, than that may be this issue. if it is a stock map, than it could be a memory issue, give it about 5 minutes, to load. start to load the map, and then get up and do something for like 5 minutes, and then go back. it may or may not load.
I have 512mb memory (which runs it quite well on someone else's computer). Just loading the stock map. I'l try giving it 10mins next time! Thanks.
yes 512 is recommended. but if you have equipment using a usb cable, that 512 would actually be less as usb uses system resources.
