First, let me tell you that I know this problem was already posted here: http://forums.filefront.com/showthread.php?t=197741, but I am still not sure what to do to resolve it. I was reinstalling the game, and for some reason, the installer just quit. When I try to reinstall it, I get an error that says this: An installation support file could not be installed. Catastrophic Failure" I get the same message when I try to uninstall it from the Add or remove programs control pannel. After this happened, I thought that if I went into my hard drive, and deleted all the BFV files, maybe it would correct the error, but it didn't. The game used to work fine, and I was uninstalling it because a patch messed it up. Please help! Thanks in advance :) ! Even if you got it installed your graphics card wouldn't run it very well at all

I used to play BFV all the time, and with the right graphics settings (medium) the game worked fine. I just want it to install.

I've got the more or less the same error for about 2 years now, and I've still haven't found a solution. My error complains of an 'interface not registered' instead of a catastrophic failure, but you might want to check

http://consumer.installshield.com/

At that site, I couldn't find the exact error you have, just the one I have.
