EA has posted this on their main BF:V site. The new patch (due next week, it says) should fix all the crashes to desktop and disconnect issues people are having. At least, I hope so!

Like the other night. I load a map, right when it finishes, I hear a loud explosion in game. Blew me out of the game and right to desktop. :) Was total coincidence, but I thought the timing was perfect...and annoying at the same time.

Twice while joining a server I had the game CTD and my resolution stayed 800x600 like I have in the game... Totally sucks. Hope the patch fixes it.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed this will fix my problems. I get dumped to the desktop after I finish playing every map. It'll be great to be able to play more than one map at a time!

That sounds to me to be more hardware/system related. when was the last time you de-fragged, and or re-installed windows?

Same thing has happened with me, Padre. Twice, I think. I can tell you with confidence that it isn't hardware related. As a matter of fact, one time it happened to both you and I at the exact same time on the exact same server (we were conversing in TeamSpeak).

I am having the sam problem but I think it is because i have a corrupt texture.rfa file in my archive folder. My specs are ATI radeon 9200se 128, 1.33ghz duron, 392mb ddr ram If anyone has a link or can email me a good or altered texture.rfa it would be great
