If a US player picks up the kit of a dead North engie player carrying the tunnel when he died, the US player WILL get the shovel, but it's useless to him. The tunnel cannot be placed and is considered to the game to have been destroyed (so whatever conditions that allow the tunnel to respawn in its original location have to be met again, whether that means a nearby spawnpoint has to be North controlled or what have you).

heres something special... Operation Irving-the NVA placed their tunnel network behind the hanger in the USA base they practicly slaughtered us, until i decided to have a little patrol and blew it up with as many nades as possible. It was like seeing ants, then more ants, then loads more, then their nest.

2 tunnels on Irving: 1 in the temple to the north east, just inside the opening to the road. 1 north of the courtyard (2nd point from the west). As NVA/VC use your map (M) to find them.

Well guys, this stuff is great but... when i play singleplayer on irving, there are no tunnels where they supposed to be... therefore no tunnels whatsoever... is that a bug from my version or do i need to do something? i mean when game starts there should be a tunnel, but there isn't not in the courtyard nor the temple
