Hello , well heres the problem , ive had this problem before and had fixed it , with the help of a fellow user on this forum , ok well the problem consisted of a window poping up saying " invalid Cd key " and exits the game when i would try to join start play sp . So pissed off i sent a question to Ea for support... and i turned to this forum for help so i could resolve it faster than ( 1 to 2 busyness days ) . So i decided to come here and i forgot my password blah blah tried to get it back didnt want to email so i made a new user and i am now Sgt.eversman . NOW i couldnt uninstall BF V , that happened before 2 so i uninstalled manual ( delete folders ) i pop the cd back in to reinstall and the install tab is not selectable but the uninstall is but clicking it exits the menu and nothing happens ( just as before were the guy helped ) now if someone could please remind me what do to as i remember i had to go somewere and find something to permanently delete it thank ( sry for making you read that block of text )

Do you mean War Hawk?

Discussion of problems with CD keys often lead to bad stuff.....

If im thinking of the same problem that happened with me you have to go to the add/remove programs in the control panel and remove from there.

This might help, got the info off another forum. don't remember where or I would give credit. I copied it and saved it for future use.

In order to reinstall, you need to remove the keys in the registry. Here a few steps to guide you thru, please note and follow carefully. Do the following in order to uninstall: 1. Delete the folder (including all sub folders), from where the program was installed. Default is C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield Vietnam 2. Go to "Start", then "Run", then type there "regedit" and hit ok. 3. At the top left side, select "File", then select second choice "EXPORT", you will need to enter a file name (like: RegCopy_todays_date), and select a folder or c:\ to place your "backup" exported registry. (In case you need to or if you make a mistake someplace, you may return back to the registry and use "Import" to get it back to the previous). You MUST do that, very important to EXPORT, which is saving your reg. Then... 4. Under "Edit" hit "find" (Ctrl+F)and type "Battlefield" 5. The 2 folders that will find and you need to DELETE are: (do not delete any BF1942 if you have it): HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Battlefield Vietnam HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder\Start Menu2\Programs\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam

Maybe... War Hawk? Bald eagles are a pretty popular theme for avatars, but he was the 1st one to come to mind. That and he's usually poking around on the BFV forums.

I couldn't find those two specific files that you listed, so i deleted all the battlefield files i saw and STILL cannot uninstall BF:V
