I played BFV when it came out for a while with no problems at all on any maps with the intel extreme graphics onboard video. I quit for a while and decided to play BFV again, I installed the patches and started up the game. While playing with a friend we loaded one of the city maps and I couldn't move, I tried everything but my guy just wouldn't move. I wasn't lagging or anything and i have never had this problem before. I think it may be the new patch. I can play on some maps just not the city ones. If any of you know what it may be please post. Thank you, I need all the help I can get.
So this is like an integrated video card, or what?
Oh your video card is not fast enough. Intel=crappy
You need to spend at lest $90 and get a 9600. you can find them and many other computer stuff off www.newegg.com
Im building a new computer off of newegg, im just wondering while all of a sudden its not letting me move on the city maps. Think its all the meshes they added into the new patch.
I can't believe it ran on that vid chip in the 1st place  Grab at least a ATI 9700 from Newegg for this game.

your video card it sucking processor power to reder all the polygons and textures. You can get good 256bit 9800's for about $230. That will be about a %250 to %500 imporvment over your extreme graphics:D
DO NOT GET ATI! The driver compatibility issues are horrible. The drivers are never really all that great which is why 2 or 3 different versions of each release come out. ATI's driver services suck. You will likely have issues with it. While some don't, others do. I run an Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 128, on a 900 MHZ processor, and 512 PC133 ram, I can run BFV, BF1942, UT2k4, Doom 3, and various other high end games on the max settings (and I mean Maximum, spare AA and Aniso Filtering, those are pointless) and have no issues whatsoever, aside from the occasional CTD, but I already know what the problem is, and how to fix it (has to do with something running in my hardware, I have a better system sittin around, but I don't have the cash to replace the memory in it. I never get CTD's on that system, which means it's either memory related, Mobo related, or soundcard related, but they never happen in SP even on this system.) I wouldn't recommend an ATI to anyone, no matter how good they are. Sure, you get a 5-10 FPS boost, which is really pointless, seeing as how most times, either Nvidia, or ATI cards are pretty much the same, and 5-10 FPS when you are getting 50+ FPS, is useless, your eyes can only register 30 frames a second. Scientific fact. But that is not the point.
THe point is, don't get ATI. Bf1942 and BFV and other games tend to have issues, since they have compatibility issues with ATI's driver releases. You get graphical corruption, CTD's, GPF's in games running the Unreal Engine, and various other issues.

:bs: I have An ATi radeon 9000pro. I have never had a problem with their drivers and an games. ATi's pwn nvida with AA and AF on(makes the picture look nicer) The only reason he is telling you to get nvidia is becuase thouse games are "nvida perferred":bs:

*gets to use new smilie!

Sorry man, but the speed of your processor greatly impacts how well your video card can perform. There is no way you can run Doom 3 with a 900MHz processor on Max settings. :bs:
