Iv been getting wicked lag on single player and multi-player, and i go in servers with atleats 10/10 ppl in them. iv got every thing set as LOW as it can go aswell. i dont get it i can play UT2004 and counter strike source with every thing on very high but not this? iv got DSL and iv got the system reqierments(if not more) what to do plzz out of every game known to man why this one? :( pllllzzzzz reply i need answers. is ther a command i can type in console like /Rate 999?

make sure you have "Miles 2D Positional Audio" checked in your sound options....the other options made horrible lag for me.

k ill do that and as far as my pc goes all i know is the fallowing. Authintic AMD Duron processor 256.0MB RAM i have no clue how to check what video card i have or how to tell if iv got 2.0 or 3.0 ghz if u could kindly show me the light ill be greatfull. im no expert at these things just games. :confused: out ef every game BF games have given me hell. untill the ppl who made it can fix all these isuess ppl are having befor thay release ther games thay can stick it up ther :moon:.

256 mb of RAM is a bit low to run BFV.....I suggest buying a 512 stick. (www.newegg.com)

to see your video card - Right click My computer and go to properties>Hardware>Device Manager>Display adapter....hit the + sign and it should show you your video card. I run BFV on high with:

Athlon XP 1800+ Sapphire Radeon 9600XT 768 MB of RAM Maxtor 40GB 7200 RPM Soundblaster Live

Ok thanks. iv got a ABIT Siluro GF4 MX i was playing Americas army today and my FPS was between 10 and 20 :\ how can i expect to play HL2 with this? do thay sell Nvidia at radeo shack? ohh and does the type of moniter count? iv got an Elements Cyclone 95. one more thing.. would one of the new Dells run Bfv-Hl2 with no proublems?

personally i don't like major computer brands(compaq, dell, e*machine). personally i build my own. And definately get more ram. 256 is no where near enough.

I agree with gun4hire building your own computer is better then buying one. You need more Ram 512mb is better but a 1Gig would be ideal. Also your going to need a better video card. A high end Nvidia or ATi card would alow you to play the newer games that are coming out.
