I don't understand why this game lags so freaking much!! I've got and Athlon XP 2800+, 512MB Crap, and a 128MB GeforceFX 5900XT...I really think I surpass the requirements...but still lag from time to time..sp not mp

Yeah its your computer. Probably a program or something that is taking resources while you play. Sounds like you might have decent hardware but you never fined tuned them.

If you get your shit together then the lag will go away.

i more then get my shit together trust me.. and there is no fine tuning to be done...Unfournately that means avg of 40-50 processes always running. But as I said i can play the doom 3 demo with a smoother framerate then this bs..And yes I plan to upgrade to some Kingston HyperX 1GB for $185 instead of this crap that came with my custom.

You call that fine tuned?

What does your computer do monitor your pacemaker.

You need 40-50 programs running at any given time.

No wonder your getting lag. Cut half of that off and you should be fine. Thats way too many programs to be running at one time you cant be using them all at once.

Parakleet is right though. Using all that shit won't do any good at all trying to run this game.

Try closing down all background programs your sure you don't need. 512 > 1gig of ram made a huge difference for me, the game is a real resource hog. Your CPU and video card are well enough to run the game.
